Why doesn't Xero.com already provide a Stripe bank feed?

Stripe and Xero recently announced a partnership where Xero will provide a native bank feed for Stripe customers. This feature is currently in beta testing, and feedback is mixed. Technically, Stripe doesn't store your funds like a bank account, so Xero didn't want to call it a Bank Feed. However, almost everyone wants to see the transactions like a bank account, so we solved the problem.
